Happy Autumn!

further down the road

Hello waste of time and taxpayers' money minority-government from yesterday back again today, hello!

Today I was wondering where this jerk, who always bought a lot of lottery and was always a dick to everyone he talked to at my store, had been lately. Well, it turns out, sometimes bad people die. Disorienting though, since he didn't seem unhealthy, just rude and mean-spirited and self-absorbed and in love with spending money on the hope that he might one day actually win money. (To buy friends?) Yeah. So he's dead. May he rest in peace, I guess?

I'm really happy with having bangs and having finished my Industrial Relations class. It's going to be nice to be able to read things I actually would like to for the next couple of months. In other news, I'm pretty sure my car is falling apart. I might like to get another job soon. So much for the reading plans.

All the leaves are brightly-coloured! Go out and take pictures before it snows!

I'd marry each and every one of you!

split up

This past weekend, we were discussing work and school and life in general, and my dad said, "Aren't you used to it?"
I said, "I guess." [Which is my reply to just about anything lately.]

But you know, you never really get used to people shitting on you when you've done nothing to deserve it. And I know that's typical; saying "I did nothing to deserve it". But at least when I've done something to deserve it, I'm understanding of the reactions I get.

What I'm referring to is a situation where, sincerely, I had nothing to do with this person's shitty day, and they came and blew my flame out to make themselves feel better. You know sometimes when you feel like a puppy, full of life and positive energy, and then some haggard old she-troll gives you a swift kick out of the blue for absolutely no reason? I hate to be full of rants lately, but every time I'm up, something has to happen to make sure I feel like I've been emotionally curb-dropped.

Actually, it happened earlier with a shittier person I have to deal with on a regular basis, too, but at least I know why she has hates on me. I'm taller, smarter, and funnier. Not to mention, better in general. But to be honest, it doesn't take much.

Happy birthday, once again, Sweetie. I hope your day was 10,000x better than mine.

Badweather Friend

friendly entertainment

I miss the evenings coaching you not to be miserable. Since you've been happy, you've forgotten who helped bring you out of it, who pushed you to do all that you could to realize life was worth living.

I'm glad you're over that era. I'm happy you're okay with being alive.

I'm disappointed that you've done little in the way of maintaining our friendship since you've forgotten your depression; the very depression that, it would seem, kept that friendship together.

Them's just the breaks though, kid. I'm here For Influence Only. I'm a catalyst; never one to be kept for long.

Kudos to you, sir. Kudos to everyone.
