Better hurry...

a weed in the setting sun

What a bargain! When I was 17, my friends and I used to 'ghost-hunt'. It was a fun way to stay up late, scare the (figurative, in my case) crap out of ourselves, and the stories we ended up with would last each of us a lifetime. And those ghosthunts were all for FREE!

So just think what kind of shit you'll be able to tell those willing to listen to you for the price of two Canada's Wonderland tickets and an experience involving absolutely no roller coasters! WOW!

Here's a tip for all your ghost-hunter kids who don't want to pay $75. Bring two video cameras (because at least one will almost always certainly die) and one digital camera, making completely certain all batteries are fully charged before you leave the comfort of your unhaunted home. Get one of your rich sucker friends to purchase an EMF detector for extra giggles. Bring at least one unkempt Frenchman. At least one member of your crew must wear black at all times, and spout off highly unpopular ideologies. And don't go out until 1 or 2 in the morning for best results. Voila! A night to remember!

Hat Magic

I have this awesome hat. Originally I called it my 'immigrant cabby' hat. Originally, also, it fit my head. I think my hair was really flat that day. I wish someone cool with a slightly smaller head than mine (or with the same sized head but less hair) could use this hat. It's going to waste.

Also... the aforementioned Tim Hortons cup on my desk just moved on my desk. Maybe due to some hard-typing. Maybe due to ghosts. I'll investigate this further at a later date.

MIRACLES!

Okay, my room is fucking haunted. While moving some things on my bed (I had been unpacking) just now, I found the missing arm piece of the sunglasses; the very piece which I lost on the bus the other day.

Why this doesn't make sense in terms of reality:

  • When the sunglasses originally fell off, I grabbed them from behind the seat they fell, without looking at them, and got off the bus
  • As soon as the exit door closed, I looked in my hand to realize the arm piece was gone
  • When I got into my apartment, I checked my purse (which was open at the time) to see if the arm had by any chance fallen in; no dice! Checked the plastic bags I had been carrying too. Nothing!
  • I have slept in this bed twice since it happened! Twice!
  • There was nothing on my bed while I was cleaning up today that would've been with me when I originally lost the arm
  • I want to believe there is a ghost in my room. Nothing exciting ever happens anymore. Let me have this one!!
What the shit is this shit about! Wow. And the sunglasses ride again.
PS: I already bought a new pair to replace them. Damn.
PPS: I don't like this awful rash that's forming on the tops of my hands. Dust allergy?? Monkey pox? I'm hoping for the more hilarious of the two. As long as it's not fatal.
