Bloop-a-doop-doop

flatter-o-rama

Christmas is raping my wallet. (And everyone else's.) What a time of good cheer.

Something really good that has happened recently is that Miklos asked me to marry him. Okay, so he always asks me, but this time it was well-planned and not while I was in the bathroom and he was walking by in the hallway/while we were watching tv/while washing the car or something. I turned into a monkey and jumped around like the House of Pain. So it's all very good.

I really can't wait for January. Christmas is a sweet time of year and all, it's nice to see family you barely ever see due to awkwardness and distance and occasional dismemberments, but Retail Hell is driving me off my wheels, sending my brain careening into an outer space of insanity. Plus, in January I'll get to make fun of how old Miklos is. Because he's OLD, come January. Bless.

Excerpts

We don’t talk to Scoobi about Santa Claus. Not since the heart attack. Something about having sat on Santa’s lap moments before his vital organs began to expand and contract in violent spasms causing him to collapse in a sweaty heap on the cottony fake snow surrounding his chair that makes the whole Christmas season eternally unsettling to a child.

Puppies, dressed as cats.

what could it be?

Blaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh it's Christmas in March. Or September or something. The weather is seriously weird this year. No summer, no winter. Just boring.

The nice thing is I got a pretty ring from the boy I care about. What a nutcase. He rules.
